OUR STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

At Auxilium Community Housing CIC, our mission is to provide safe, secure, and supportive housing solutions for individuals facing homelessness and housing insecurity. We believe that stable accommodation is the foundation for rebuilding lives, fostering independence, and creating opportunities for long-term well-being.

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), we are dedicated to reinvesting our resources into expanding housing provisions, enhancing support services, and developing sustainable pathways for individuals to transition from crisis to stability. Our approach goes beyond providing shelter, we offer a holistic enhanced housing management and support system that includes access to employment opportunities, mental health resources, and community integration programs.

Guided by the principles of the proposed National Supported Housing Standards, Auxilium is underpinned by five key principles:

Auxilium CIC collaborates with local authorities, charitable organisations, and private sector partners to create a self-sustaining and impactful housing model. Our goal is to not only address immediate housing needs but to break the cycle of homelessness through long-term, community-driven solutions.

Auxilium Community Housing CIC goes beyond simply offering a place to live. We create an inclusive community where individuals can rebuild their lives with dignity, security, and hope.

Our Approach

At Auxilium, we specialise in supporting individuals affected by homelessness, addiction, mental health crises, and challenges related to independent living. Our team have extensive housing management experience and bring a range of skillsets to ensure successful outcomes for our residents. 

We take a person-centred approach to supporting individuals through Enhanced Housing Management (EHM), ensuring that each person’s specific and often complex—property support needs are fully understood and respected.

We use person-centred planning as a core method to help individuals work towards the goals they want to achieve. This means we tailor every aspect of our EHM support to suit the unique preferences, aspirations, and circumstances of each person.

Since no two people are the same, the plans and solutions we co-create must be just as individual as they are. With the person’s full input, we develop support & supervision strategies that are meaningful, achievable, and empowering.

A person-centred plan outlines how Auxilium will support an individual to sustain their tenancy and live the life they want, both now and in the future. It’s a dynamic, living document created through meaningful conversations and collaboration. We use a range of communication tools to ensure everyone can be actively involved in shaping their support and supervision, regardless of how they communicate.

supported housing is a cornerstone of our government’s broader commitment to ending rough sleeping, supporting victims of domestic abuse, assisting individuals facing addiction, and ensuring that older adults receive the property focused support and supervision they need.

This sector provides some of the most vulnerable members of society with the opportunity to live as independently as possible, significantly enhancing their quality of life, well-being, health, and employment prospects.

Beyond transforming individual lives, supported housing plays a vital role in alleviating pressure on essential public services, including the National Health Service (NHS), the criminal justice system, and social care. By offering tailored support and stable accommodation, it not only fosters personal resilience but also contributes to more sustainable public service provision, making it an indispensable component of our social infrastructure.

We take a tailored approach to residents’ support needs and can demonstrate that the service delivers positive resident outcomes.

20% of tenants were street homeless prior to Auxilium, 90% tenants homeless for five+ years prior to Auxilium, 10% tenants previously evicted.

90% tenants in receipt of full welfare benefit entitlement, 50% tenants in contact with specialist debt services, 20% of tenants have successfully moved into the private rental sector.

100% registered with GP (this is typically minimal for homeless community due to registration barriers), 100% registered with allied healthcare (dentist, optician etc), 65% engaging in positive smoking cessation.

50% in voluntary work, 90% engaged in community activities (gym etc), 20% in education.

Auxilium Community Housing provides essential accommodation solutions for individuals facing housing insecurity and complex needs.

We work alongside support providers and community stakeholders to deliver personalized support packages that meet the unique needs of each resident. Our focus is on individuals who are unable to access or sustain conventional housing options due to disability, addiction, trauma, and/or mental ill health.

Working with clients dedicating a minimum of 3 hours a week tailored 121 support & supervision under our enhanced housing management service. We take a people-centred, informed approach to each of our residents, ensuring their needs are met by our experienced team.

Our supported living services offer more than just modern, comfortable surrounding, we provide tailored support and supervision that fits seamlessly around each individual and their care packages, fostering confidence, independence, and a genuine sense of belonging.

The primary goal is to offer high quality accommodation with a well led team to help individuals to maintain tenancies and work with the resident on their pathway to independent living.

We work closely with individuals who have struggled to live independently, providing tailored support to help them build the confidence and skills needed to transition from temporary or supported housing into long-term, stable homes.

Our goal is rooted in compassion, consistency, and collaborative progress, and we’re proud to have supported many on their journey to independence.

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), we are committed to reinvesting all profits directly into the communities we serve. A cornerstone of this mission is the development of Community Hubs in every town where we operate.

These hubs are more than physical spaces, they are dynamic centres of connection, personal growth, and community support.

Each hub offers:

  • Homelessness prevention workshops
  • Life skills development sessions
  • Creative and hobby-based workshops
  • Inclusive community cafés

Our aim is to create safe, inclusive environments where people can access the tools, support, and community they need to thrive.
